RE:RE:I believe low interest rates are here too stay

I am not denying that there is some truth to your argument, however, low interest rates are extremely good for business. Most new busisses need low interest rate capital to get started. Who wants to start a new business if the value of money is at 10%.

Most personal debts are the result of buying home and cars. The Governement did the right thing by increasing the down payment on home buying. They should probably consider doing the same thing when buying cars making it impossible to ask for a loan equivalent to the full value of the car.
