my comment was short funny and witty.

Yours was long, useless and provided a more than obviously conclusion.

Back to the pumps my friend. Stay cool.

Capt Obvious,

One thing I learned many years ago by managing people and organization, it is the responsibility of a speaker or writer to be sure people with all king of background and knowledge  understand the information that is being transmitted and adjust the level of the speach and writing accordingly. When writing to a population at large, it is recommended to use grade 8 level words and grammar.  Writing to university degree people would be another story and even more so if writing to experts on a specific matter.

Obviously  by writing so that a grade 8 would understand, one needs more words to be sure the message is understood.

Obviously, addressing my comments to a genius such as yourself, I could do it succintly or maybe I am wrong and I have to lower the level to a grade 6 so that you can understand.
