Ther familly must be dissapointed with BellemareSince Q3 results were published and the recent announcement regarding the AMF investigation, the SP came down to a level that every analysts think is completely irrational. For once, I agree with analysts.
Recently, Bellemare admitted that he did not anticipate this reaction from the stock market. Obviously, it is the responsibility of the company to anticipate market rections and provide necessary information the reassure investors.
Unfortunately, after 18 years investing in this company, the Public Relation of Bombardier has always been extremely weak. There is rarely anything done to reassure investors. They act as if they did not care about the value of their stock.
I for one think that it should be extremely embarasing for an international company the size of Bombardier to have their stock in the $2 range. That is certainly a good explanation as to why they did not have much success selling and outstanding plane as the C Series. Who would invest billions buying a fleet of planes from a company with share listed as penny stock
Have I lost faith in Bellemare? No although his miscalulation regarding Q3 results cost me a bunble of money. However, I have to keep in mind that for every thouzand of dollars I lost, the Beaudoin/Bombardierr familly lost tens of millions.
If the familly still believe that Bellemare is the man who can succesfully stear the ship through these trouble times, this is good enough for me. On the other end, if they were to fire him, I will start to worry about my investment.
