RE:RE:Heat is picking upAction and in action of each countries aeronautical regulatory bodies have put their reputation on line. If TC and and FAA wait and find out later that Ethiopian crash was related to MCAS then they will loose credibility. On the other hand if no relation is found between both crashes than TC and FAA will save face. Either way EASA, UK, Etc have played it safe. While they don’t have any solid proof the fact they err on safety side shows what governments should be doing. TC and FAA are going by facts and data but have lost public opinion on safety.
