RE:What if Honda Aircraft wants Learjet with $2 billion?

RE:What if Honda Aircraft wants Learjet with $2 billion? Why and how would this help bombardier?  Learjet service Centers are intergrated with the global and challenger jets.  Learjet while not a strong division  within the business jet aviation division brings in $100’s of million in services and parts revenue to bombardier.  Customers moving up from Learjet will first look at Challenger and global jet.  Selling it to Honda will only result in loosing customers and their loyalty.  Agree Learjet is not doing well but that entire size jet market is underperforming and overcrowded with too many OEM’s.  Honda like Mitsubishi will be interested in the service network not the actual airplane. Unlike CRJ selling Learjet will cause bombardier to separate and break it’s global support service  Centers which is opposite of what they want to do.  Also why would you give your upcoming competitior more tools to beat you?
