RE:Dont bother with Gripen

The F35 is not worth the bother

Canada can't afford the number of technicians required for an F35, nor the support equipment, nor do we have tactically enough airstrips for an F35, nor do we have the pilots... why do you think the Swedes use the Gripen? It's cheaper to buy, cheaper to fly, cheaper to maintain, and it is operationally more versatile.

Anyone that's in, or been in the Air Force knows the F35 is just penis envy... it's not the size, it's how well you work it.
