RE:RE:RE:Not looking good for airlines

RE:RE:RE:Not looking good for airlines It all depends. Look at Pratt and Whitney Canada. Its a divsion owned by American giant RTX but has its own design and manufacturing control within Pratt and Whitney umbrella. Pratt Canada is run by Canadians and they design and manufacture here in Canada. They control the turbo prop market with PT6 and PW100, and have various turboshaft engines for helicopters , and have a lead on small turbo fan engines. Pratt Canada is either 1st or 2nd in the markets they serve. They just got into large business jet market with PW800 and are already on 3 platforms. They displaced RR on 2 new Gulfstream planes. Which always used to have RR engines. I believe if Pratt Canada offered PW800 for Gulfstream 700 then they would have given G700 better range and performance. Same sucess cant be said for Pratt USA which is not market leader in their business segment. Look at the GTF disaster.

canada is a lab for France and USA

what ever is inovative and worth while will be habded to USA or France, if not on good term, it is by take over, or bought or destroyed as no country is allowed to have better tech than those two U*SA and France

the Dual share that every one is complaining about is what kept blackberry and bombardier in canada till today

gov, will pretend that they want to help (that is to show good faith) but in reality they will do what take to give those tech to others

canada will be happy if they get control of bbd to give it to usa or france
