RE:RE:RE:RE:The case for more rail transit in Canada

RE:RE:RE:RE:The case for more rail transit in CanadaC series has more American content then Canadian contents. Yes the engines are build in Canada but that too has more American parts, and so is for all major airplane parts. Did Boeing go easy on McDonnell Douglas because they were American? Does Illinois give more money to Boeing because the Head office is in Chicago or Washington State gives more to Boeing because manufacturing is there? CN has it HQ in Canada and most of their business are in USA. The faliure falls with the Canadian and QC government for not supporting c series and the failure of bombardier to take on BA and AB head on. Location of headquarters is irrelevant. When AB and Bombardier build the 2nd FAL in Mobile how much money did they get from local government?
pablo87 wrote: Do you think C series would have suffered the same fate if Bombardier was an American company? Move the HQ to US (and US listing) is less than 2-3K jobs lost probably but you would get better support from cdn and qc govt (as a foreign entity) as well as the full support of US govt so the rest of jobs would be safer.  So obviously better off for shareholders if  company chose to do so. Stop being emotional, make right decision for everyone.
