Is the Global 8000 a catalyst?

Is the Global 8000 a catalyst?A question was asked about the lack of a catalyst to infuse some energy in the sp a little while ago and I'm wondering if the Global 8000 could be it.

I doubt I'm the only one to wonder but would like to hear for others.. be it long, shorts, traders or whatever you consider yourself to be.

Here's what I think... The Global 8000 was a bit unexpected and it might impact the budgeting for the development or a new aircraft.  Why... because, as Eric Martel mentionned, the development money for the 8000 is already factored in the 2025 goals.

This might somehow be the new aircraft needed, thus freeing up money that could be put to work on the debt... or elsewhere.

Opinions?

Thanks,
