Embraer

EmbraerSo bomber confirmed guidance of 120 jets in 2022
and so far we are at 31 or so with 7 months to go.
Looking at what Embraer is promising for the year
after 35 jets in first quarter you would think that
the bombers pace has to accelerate fairly quickly
to pump out 120 for the year. If Embraer is having
issues with shortage of raw materials one would have
to assume Bombardier is in the same boat.

Embraer delivered 35 executive jets between January and March, its strongest first quarter since 2016, with backlog expanding by 12%. Amalfitano says the airframer will ship 100 to 110 aircraft this year, and says supply, rather than demand, is the main brake on it delivering more. In common with the rest of the industry, Embraer and its vendors are wrestling with raw material shortages.
