RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Way to go Martel.... we can't let this happen!Sorry if it's a little offensive? I still have a real hard on for them. They were the sole cause for the giveaway of the CSeries. They are the dirtiest company out there, and they should be punished for all their antics, and their dirty tricks. They don't care who they kill with their garbage product, that they never upgrade, just for the sake of profit.

Here, here!! Very HARD!

stockitnow wrote: This is a military contract.  Not so easy to throw a bone to the local dog.  Boeing has successfully protested so many USAF contract to lockheed, Airbus America, Rockwell to reverse bid because the government didnt follow guidelines to acquire the best value contract.  Boeing knows how to play the lobbying game and litigate.  Either way it will be sole source order.  Canada won't operate mutli platform anyways.  I would be happy to see Bombardier get the contract, but Boeing has all.their ducks lined up.  Ba$turds.

True, but it won't hurt if they gave the contract to the Bomber. The Global is a great plane and is used widely in the world already .The way Just saying here. Trudeau should see it for exactly what it is, is that he's helping a great Canadian company to meantime. Fk boeing.

stockitnow wrote: Its good he came out and said that.   But...

Boeing 737, landings gears are made by  RTX - Collins out of Oakville ON, CAE out of Quebec makes the flight Sim that will be acquired for training, Honeywell Canada makes many of the electronic warfare equipment along with RTX in Midland ON with alot of high tech avionics used in Boeing Posedian.  Bombardier is only providing Green fuselage of a global jet.  And most of the Global components are made outside of Canada.

Boeing platform are used by many more Nato allies then Bombardier product.  Boeing frame is based on proven 737 -700/800 platform, there parts are dime a dozzen and cheap and quick to acquire then Bombardier.  Boeing life cycle cost is lower.  Boeing has stronger case of industrial offset.  Just my 2 cents.
