Bombardier is already paying out of their pocket to fix these issues before closing the deal. Day traders and shorts will try to have a field trip with this news. Bbd has enough time to get these rail cash burn issues resolved before closing.

A further example of Canadian "eat your own mentality" When the MOU was announced, wasn't the rail problems known to alstom...of course they were and what about the improvements that have been done since then let alone the added contracts...I would think that Bombardier would have a strong case contrary to this piece from the globe and trash..   Seems to me that the Globe and ...more

Question... Would that deal be able to be cancelled without any consideration  needed to be paid to Alstom if Alstom starts playing with the numbers out of what was already agreed upon? I know those numbers were flexible to a certain extend like it was already mentioned. It is just something that came to mind this morning. With the rail side approaching the end of the legacy contracts ...more

Here is a good description of the deal from Alsom https://www.alstom.com/press-releases-news/2020/2/acquisition-bombardier-transportation-accelerating-alstoms-strategic   Break up fee was announced by Bellemar to be in the range of 75 million.

You are a liar...   That is not old news and the MOU is still in place no matter what is said in the Aug 10 linlk.   it is called leveraging and positioning for the negotiations to come.all the while you insinuate that there are no positives like new orders . Like I said upteen times...go back to your lemonade stand !!

75 million dollars paid to Alstom and deal is off ... l'agrandir will go to Toronto , then if they they get 2 more first rounders they just might make the playoffs again one day ...
