I really could not care less about thunder bay considering all the colluded bad press from Ontario in the past and so now they are crying UNCLE.. They were willing throw Bombardier under the TRAIN (pun Intended) and so was the Quebec media in fact. If Alstom tries to play hardball for concessions, I would say take the 75 million charge and nix the deal and leave the fallout to the Ontario and

I agree , to kell with the jobs . Everybody beat up on the bomber and now they are scrambling for jobs ... maybe they should have thought about it BEFORE the govts gave the REM contract to Alstom ... I seriously hope the Alstom goes through and the bomber is left with as few jobs pssible with huge profits and completely distances themselves from govt envolvement ...Rarely  in the news there

The union and bombardier is asking for early contract. No one besides bombardier is crying UNCLE Its not going to work. ON care less about saving 200 jobs at TB its all about Southern ON jobs. Aerospace in QC is dying too. If QC cared then the new Global Assy plant would have moved to QC but since QC didn't give any consideration the Global moved to YYZ. I think the new challenger will be

Maybe you should brush up on auto history in QC first before making a comment like that. Quebec is loosing the aerospace race industry too. Why did Hroux-Devtek open facility in Kitchener instead of Longueuil or near by city in QC. Why didn't bombardier move Global FAL to QC. Thats a golden opportunity missed by QC to bring aerospace jobs in. You already proofed the point that keeping 2 a220

The truth is Global jets are build in ON and the truth is that Hroux-Devtek also came out of QC to work on new contract for 777-300 and 777x landing gear. You
