Major score for St Mary's Cement. As with the other BBD divestments McInnis was a modern and technically innovative industry leader. There will be a lot of cement manufactured out of that plant over the next fifty years. Too bad it will be a Brazilian company making the money. Makes no difference to a politician.

For the record, global expenditure on cement is estimated to equal global expenditure on food. The industry is running on 50 year old infrastrucure that has been modernized.
