Maybe the family wants their balance sheet to look better before they consider the govts' help , maybe this time they won't trust the govts and be tougher at the bargaining table ... I'm sure they were in no bargaining situation when they made the previous dealings with govts ... I agree. Dealing with government is like a soup sandwhich . This is the best time to get better intrest rates knock debt down give shareholders a return on there investment
