Where is the major announcement

Bombardier has had an exceptional year. However, today's results are as expected given the financial report that Bombordier published a month or so ago.

Some on this board have been reporting that Bombardier would have major news to announce today. Where is it? I read the complete report and could not even find a hint about something major to be announced. Those who posted about a major announcement should be saying something about it. Or was it simply the usual BS or misleading statements that I regularly read  in the posts of some members of this board. Whishfull thinking doen not make it reality.

Listen my friend. This is called intelectual honesty. If you post something and you are not sure about it then you  clearly say so. Do not post information and make it sound like you know something about it and subsequently say that it was simply whishfull thinking. gobomber - Most people were saying that because they expected management to have kept something 'special' for th Q4 presentation and they hoped that it was something major.  Everyone know that and you're not being 'intelectually honest' yourself by acting offended about these posts.

As said yesterday...Any material announcement is not possible same day of earnings.   Market is taking it as ho hum as i had feared with sell on news mantra in full force with high volume.   My purchase late yesterday was ill timed luck I am, mitigated somewhat with some previous ones.   always best to follow your instincts. Will have to put a little more into the longer term

Why is it that many here think it possible that a major announce can be released before any dissemination of the earnings. This is traded in many jusrisdictions with different time zones. If there was any possibility of a release, a stop trade order would have had to be enacted. The same arguement was proposed during the last release of earnings

You're right! Worst thing to do, is too listen to others, if it's been done no problem, but if it isn't well, don't say anthing before it is really done! we see it by the S/P now!!
