I told you millions of times no way to beat Boeing. This contract was theirs before it was announced. Please stick to English it's just easier. I like your posts but always having to translate is a pain. We need to focus on fleet deals and military contracts from countries that respect and appreciate leading edge tech that's efficient and keeps costs low. Good riddance let's move ...more

my guess is that Ottawa will find (at least) 17 reason to select Boeing, and I hope BBD will take them to court and win

Samething for me. I hope BBD will take them to court. Unbelivable it take so much time to take a decision when BBD his here.

Let's be realistic. No political party has shown any support for the Canadian military or Canadian sovereignty as far as backing our self defense industries. That being said Trudeau has proven to be by far the worst of the bunch. He is a poser without any substance. The only reason he keeps getting elected is because of the way the the seats are designed. Separatist Quebec elects the Canadian ...more

Actually..  the only party that would be better of from quebec separating is Canada without Quebec. As has been constantly proven, Quebec as we see to this date is the worst managed jurisdiction  within Canada and the USA. From the highes taxed to the least, least productive and value for your tax dollars all the while 400k provincial employees likely  going on strike on mass not ...more

Highest taxed in North America, and ranking 15th globally. A clear sign that the GVT machine spends our tax money wisely and efficiently....
Comment by clubhouse19 on Oct 30, 2023 2:27pm
Are you saying that Quebecers see this as a point of pride being the most taxed in North America.  I also heard that he sauid that Quebecers would work for free in order to make this viable.  Maybe they should throw that out to the 400k employees that are threatening a general strike while rotating strikes are in the books for next week

Everyone - This quickly moved into non-Bombardier related stuff, you should move this to you private message boxes. Thanks!

Unfortunately, quebec politics versus federal politics always enters into the picture with regards to institutions vying for federal or provincial moneys or contracts.   It is the nature of a good part of our economy, trying to separate totally one from the other is really being a little naive. You simply cannot separate one from the other.. Eric Martel even thinks so, or why would he be so ...more

Balmusette As I mentioned,to my name...politics plays a critical role in these kinds of issues with regards to federal or provincial contracts. Actually Quebec has written the book on how to make enemies and lose friends.    You can blame that more than anything else.  Biting the hand that has been feeding you is not the best way forward.
