My 2 cents regarding strike Deal will be done. Both sides are just posturing. Union needs to show they stand by their members and bombardier needs to show they bargain hard.
At the end of the strike, bombardier saved money on not paying employees while supplying change continued supplying parts and maintaining steady flow for next quarter.
Union will get a deal closes to what they wanted but loss of pay for one week will not be enough to make a significant impact.
Both side wins. And when this strike is over then we might win if sp sees a bump. This strike only impacts Global jets. Challenger jets are continue build.
