Negative sentiment

BCE is a victim of negative sentiment. Nothing influences sentiment like price. If you owned this at anything above 55 you're obviously not feeling good but take a step back and analyze this as someone with no position whatsoever. Why after a 40% correction would you begin naked shorting an oligopolist player that has clear competitive advantges and barriers to entry on its side? Ever since the last ex-divy date the price action made it fairly evident cap loss harvesting was the main motivation. The narratives have spun wildly from there. Sure more downside is possible but the risk reward more than skews toward being long at these levels.
