Bell CTS segment provides a range of communication products and services to consumers, businesses and government customers across Canada. Its wireless products and services include mobile data and voice plans and devices and are available nationally. Its wireline products and services comprise data (including Internet access, Internet protocol television (IPTV), cloud-based services and business solutions), voice, and other communication services and products, which are available to its residential, small and medium-sized businesses and large enterprises customers primarily in Ontario, Quebec, the Atlantic provinces and Manitoba. This segment includes its wholesale business, which buys and sells local telephone, long-distance, data, and other services from or to resellers and other carriers.

I don't know who owns BCE shares but about three years ago, Suncor shares and its operations were not doing too well. That brought on an activist investor (Elliot Mgmt.), a new CEO and four seats on the BoD eventually.

I made out okay because I had some Call options and was nimble enough to sell at a good price just over two-years ago during the initial runup. That was at a time when the feds were trying to take control of and shutdown the O&G business. I don't see any good things for the telcos with this current fed Libs/NDP'rs in charge. They're making a mess of everything they touch.
