Crazy how fast the shorts have been covering, and pretty sad that those selling have allowed the shorts to cover at such a low price.
The positive here is, that with shorts covering, the selling pressure should slow and more investors should be going long.
It should also indicate the bottom has been set, and a new uptrend will begin. There's some major gaps to cover all the way up to $65.17. That may take some time, but this is still BCE, Canada's largest and oldest Telco.
Sellers may have forgotten that, but the buyers and long term shareholders have not.
