'Hoping' for $46 is not a very sound investment strategy Sadie Lady, while 'Wishing' on the other hand is a lot more fun! Here's a little technical hint for you.  When the dark blue signal line in the MACD turns up and points at the light blue signal line, the stock is about to head up, and once it passes through the light blue line the direction change is confirmed.

Too bad I can't attach the chart Newcoin because in this case a picture is really worth a thousand words. In any event, the interpretation is simple, the RSI (Relative Strength Index) is showing BCE is in deep Oversold territory, could go a tiny bit lower yet but likely would have broke through $45.40 today, but since it didn't that's a positive.  And it closing at $45.86 CAD vs.

Great post! Well reasoned and stated. I hope you're correct. The s/p makes absolutely no sense. Telus being hammered too. Canadian telcoms being hit hard. Buying BCE and Telus now is a buy for the ages. If they recover relatively unscathed then the winners will be those brave enough to buy now. I've been buying all along the last month. I hope we hit bottom before I jump out a window

Telus looks attractive here now as well.  Technically it looks like there's a bit more downside, maybe another buck or so but a good point to start acquiring.  Too bad you started acquiring Telus a month ago.   I've seen several analysts on BNN over the past few weeks that have been touting Telus as a buy over BCE as BCE news turned negative so it's no wonder retail
