Somebody just fat fingered 300k shares down to 45.61.

Someone is getting fired.

And now that same somebody likely bought 100k at 46.85 to help erase that massive booboo. Damn, poor fool.

Well, whatever happened the share price recovered over $1 per share since. Somebody forgot to wear their reading glasses and pushed the sell button by mistake, or instead of 300 shares, dumped 300k share by mistake. Then went into panic mode in order to recover the shares.  Don't know what else it could have been.

No mystery here JoeBravo1, that's how the hedge funds and institutional traders take out the STOPS.  I mentioned in a previous post (a few days back) that BCE was at or very near a bottom and suggested retail investors to not use stop loss orders, but hey what do I know...Lol. I learned that lesson many years ago when I was much younger and didn't know much about how this game is ...more

I agree HoneyBadger77.  I personally never use stop losses unless.  The only time to use stop losses is with a company that doesn't have a long standing like BCE. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but I'm happy holding long term and collecting the dividend.  This should be trading closer to $60 by end of year especially once the cost cutting measures and non-core assets are ...more
