Its wireline products and services comprise data (including Internet access, Internet protocol television (IPTV), cloud-based services and business solutions), voice, and other communication services and products, which are available to its residential, small and medium-sized businesses and large enterprises customers primarily in Ontario, Quebec, the Atlantic provinces and Manitoba. This segment includes its wholesale business, which buys and sells local telephone, long-distance, data, and other services from or to resellers and other carriers.

Good piece.

Is the market expensive? Yup. Just took a look at the trailing P/E ratios for the oil&gas and the metal sectors. 30 and 25 respectively. Those are high.

Kim Shannon likes BCE which continues to be the single, largest overweight position in this household portfolio. I still like the telecom/wireless/cable space (and would love to get a hold of that TD sector review, hint, hint.)

Whether oil plays are fair to cheap depends where you look. There are numerous dividend-paying oil companies. As for natural gas projects, the intrinsic values reflect market conditions that no longer exist. I'd be careful.
