Nat gas up 6%

This stock always trades in line with the price of oil instead of nat gas. Nat gas up 6% today and hitting a year high and we're sitting pretty up 5 cent on the day.

Definately frustrating.  Had a nice pop this morning and as soon as oil began to fall,  down it comes.   That said all other gassy names fell as well.  Makes me  wonder if a lot of investors think most oil & gas names produce both product instead of as in BIR's case.  a pure nat gas & liquids producer.  It should be trading closer to $11 IMO when nat ...more

Of course it makes no sense but that's the typical manipulation that goes on at TSX.  With this company trading at a PE under 5 and will shortly be debt free, expect a huge stock price re-rating or possible takeover.  Look for nat gas to trade in the double digits by the end of October.  I believe we are the only 100% unhedged nat gas company.  We all just need to be ...more
