Positive for natural gas

US natural gas futures soared 10% to above $6.2/MMBtu on Monday, the highest in two weeks due to a rebound in LNG exports and expectations of higher domestic demand. Average US gas demand, including exports, is set to rise to 101.2 bcfd next week, from 98.3 bcfd this week. Berkshire Hathaway Energy's Cove Point LNG plant in Maryland returned to operations on October 28th after a month-long maintenance while the Freeport plant in Texas is set to at least partially resume production in early to mid-November. Meanwhile, the latest weather forecast from Maxar’s Weather Desk was showing colder trends day/day for the eastern half of the Lower 48 from November 10-14th.

Man this natural gas market is on volatility steroids these days.  Down 12%...Up 12% So today we have a glut or what?

The volatility is positively manic.  This is not human controlled anymore.  Its all about algos and robots.  Simply out of control programs dragging humans along like dumb witted animals.  How can one make intellligent investment decisions when you see this kind of stuff going on.

Price of natty down today because Freeport didn't submit their intention to restart plan today, as was expected. Dems probably doing some under the table work.

Sure Biden @ company wouldn't want that news out until the election is over.

When the systems in control took the most important commodity (OIL) to negative a couple of years back then anything is possible in these manipulated markets. These markets ae best for swing trades at the moment.

Agree! Swing trading heaven.

Swing for shorters, flippers, day traders ect, actualy this is not the sector to invest your money except if you bought 2 years ago like I did. So for now hold if you can or dont let the shorters, flippers and day traders to get the control of your money. Maybe in 2023 the sector will less volatil.
