THE SCHAK is back.......
for those interested .. BIR among others are participating in the (Josef) Schachter Catch the Energy Conference this weekend..look for an updated presentation afterwards...
Who is "the Schak" you ask???He is one of Canada's longest serving oil/gas analyst-infact, he has been in business longer than Eric "the entertainer" Nuttall. Like clockwork, those two were regular guests on market call until BNN started allowing only accredited fund managers so newsletter peeps like the SCHAK and CONTRA THE HERD got tossed.
The Schak now runs the very expensive schachter energy report ie "BLACK GOLD" - it better be, because its $800 per year annual subscription. Josef is also famous for always appearing with a bow-tie ..anyways , lets see what comes out of this conference running this weekend...dwdc

"Joe the Bow" throughout the years has not been my most popular O/G go-to analyst. I do recall him in the presence of some very appealing female associates though. Had an uncanny resemblance to Sean Penn's character in the movie Carlito's Way. Clear the track, here comes Shact...
