RE: BMO is a screaming sell & Ed Steer commentarySorry to burst your bubble dividendguy but Yannio has been anything but respectful.  You are aware he had a post laden with ethnic slurs that was appropriately removed from stockhouse.  In fact there have been many posts where he has been less than respectful.

I agree that dividends can be a very powerful tool for accumulating wealth but it can only be accomplished in an environment of increased growth. Clearly there is very little chance for increased growth for BMO or any of the banks for that matter.  If you are of the belief that banks will make it through what is only the infancy of a major credit crisis then I would be trading the bank stocks and accumulating shares free of risk.  JMHO but I believe banks hit a top and will now begin retreating gradually.  It's certainly tough to trade the banks based on TA.  You can throw away all bank charts before August 2007 as they serve no purpose.

All the best,

The Bluenote
