It has Shaunavon properties in the Chambery field, which produce medium density crude oil from the upper Shaunavon formation under waterflood. It also has assets in the Prespatou area of northeast British Columbia, which consists almost entirely of natural gas and associated natural gas liquids. It also has an undeveloped Charlie Lake asset that is prospective for light oil in Bonanza, Alberta. The Company has over 116 net sections of contiguous land in the light oil prone Charlie Lake.

 After rereading your post, I gather you/or your broker are saying there are too many OG companies in Canada not doing much to create shareholding value yet are highly compensated.( I get the point it is not 2014) Why should the executives who preside over indebted OG companies be richly rewarded? Shouldn’t their pay be clawed back to reflect their smaller production base and/or enterprise value? ( and/or performance? ) Entrenched management teams have become to accustomed to the corporate lifestyle and shareholder are taking note.
 Dislodging some of these management teams will not be easy but they may be forced by the market and investors who are demanding better returns on capital spent. Clever financial engineering by way of merger , repackaging or any other way to recapitalize and improve their cost of capital is necessary with unfriendly woke banks and lenders. If done correctly some of the names mentioned including BNE could see an instant stock price re-rating.
