OIL shorters are working overtime

Cant Wait for somthing to happen...Oil fields in Saud attack, Russia openly cuts off Europe, Hurricanes in the Alantic, Covid restriction lifted in China, US openly states they dont see any signs of a recession.

OIL reserves are lower. OPEC cuts back....They want $100 oil.

Maybe my conspiracy theory in me coming out but, whenever oil looks like it's on an upward trajectory, China lockdown headlines start appearing. The west seems on the ropes by begging for oil even from sanctioned countries.  I have also wondered if an unexpected event would occur as a result such as attacks on infrastructure in a major producing country such as the Sept 2019 attacks ...more

Yes you are right again Bandit...They are forcing the price of oil down. NO reason other than to try and stock pile. but, sooner or later OIL will explode...hang on..

Cracks are starting to emerge in demand, We just had huge builds across the board, especially in gasoline and this has been a disastrous driving season thus far. The drop is oil was not without merit.

I don't dispute the demand report today. However I think it is common to see a build after July 4 because retailers replenish inventory prior to the holiday weekend and would cause a subsequent build up post holiday. I will wait to see the next week or two before I make conclusions. Wherever I go I am seeing heavy traffic and no signs of people slowing down speed wise or driving. Maybe not ...more
