Pure Absurdity

Pure AbsurdityThe government/tax department of Albania is acting irrationally they sieze bank accounts before the audit even concludes!?!?!?! BNK is its largest foreign investor and they're treating us like this over what a tax dispute. The activities of BNK contributed to 6% of GDP they have zero respect for the company after everything the company has done for them like the millions and millions we gave to them in taxes previously. THEY WON'T EVEN GIVE US THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.One day we owe 57 million and another 72 million they don't even know themselves. BNK has been operating there since 2004 BUT they think somehow after 11 years was we decided to cheat them out of taxes. We already pay a 50% profit tax on top of royalties and whatnot. This is so shocking that something like this even possible we do so many great things for the industry in the country and we get this treatment. Maybe if Albania treated companies that create value for the country better they might be in overall better shape.
