The investment objectives for the Preferred Shares are to provide their holders with fixed cumulative preferential monthly cash distributions in the amount of $0.05 per Preferred Share ($0.60 per annum or 6.0% per annum on the issue price of $10.00 per Preferred Share) until November 30, 2023 (the Maturity Date) and to return the original issue price of $10.00 to holders on the Maturity Date. The Company will invest on an approximately equally-weighted basis in Portfolio Shares of the following publicly traded Canadian banks: Bank of Montreal; Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce; National Bank of Canada; Royal Bank of Canada; The Bank of Nova Scotia; and The Toronto-Dominion Bank. RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:SAFE ApprovalToo much conjecture going on here,.
.
..
Based on the timeframe I has reservation if thi sdeal is going ahead as planned.
.
Did the Chinese find problems?  I'm curious, what ever happened to those tax issues?
.
Did I miss something?
.
When BNK went from the low 3's to 90 cents it was as a result of the tax issues primarily and all along we were told by IR ( same ones that are speaking now) that it's fine  they will not have their accounts frozen ( yup they were)  that this would be settled in weeks,  still not from my information,  am I worng here?
.
I have no faith in IR , CB  they have been wrong many more times than right recently, almost as if they orchastrated the tax issues to force down the SP  so that the selling price was very low.
I'm also curious as to why there has been absolutely no information about other bidders...
If the sale was such a great deal earlier,  why no counter offers?

'
This whole thing really stinks to high heaven...  But don't listen to anything I have to say  I bailed on BNK a few weeks after the sale announcement, AND for the time being on the sidelines.
