Next step.....

....the pattern, played out in other 3rd world banana republics, is to force BNK to shut in wells, then in the interests of the protection of its primary cash cow, the government nationalizes the industry. They no longer need BNK, their expertise is in the ground. I am long, but fear I will not have to search far for tax losses this season.

I see it the same way as youflintabattey. Very worry for our future. I still have half position but I think I will sell the other half soon, before we loose everything when the albs try to nationlize it. What you suggest Flint would take a very long time to effect. There would be a cluster fk of tribunals and hearings etc etc. before we got there. I get it man. I'm not either. The weighted common sense conclusion is that the ALBS release and cooperate going forward. Every other permutation is a cluster fk.

There's little expertise 'on the ground'. Their best engineers are in Calgary. I should know, I have some in the family. 'Much promise little joy' said a Bloomberg article about Albania's oil adventure. They are bang on!

....and so the boondoggle continues. Well, first, I hear you BC with your vent and ditto for me. And I agree with you,Himmler on the optics of Bankers announcement not giving clarity to us investors if we take statements at face value. However, I am a bit ticked how all this is going down and don't know if one side or both are posturing to save face or wtf else they are up to. What happens ...more
