Big Banc Split Corp > My eternal optimism is ....

My eternal optimism is ....

...somewhat shaken. Not only in the Albanian government but in Bankers as well.Although Bankers initially did what I thought was correct with its actions,I now wonder why they stated that they cannot pay the workers, yet initially stated that the bank account seized by the authorities held little cash....where is their money then? ..and use the money to continue operations?? They believe they are right so whats the problem?? Simplistic..yes..but?
Its a week now since the news and despite losing almost half the market cap in that time ,we get no real assurances from the company that things are progressing...at least not reassuring to us retail investors.7 .7million trades and dropping %15  suggests institutions bailing....enough garbage about 'weak hands'...This is almost capitulation in my books.
This is all my opinion, and you longs out there know I've been with this company for many years ...as you have....so although I am venting I take no solace in watching this company's value being destroyed, out of the blue, for no real apparent reason. This idiotic nationalisation garbage talk  does provide me with some small chuckles ..but something sinister seems to be occuring here...and it is in my sincere belief that BNK had better get this mess explained in a clear and urgent manner. The market is fickle these days ..especially with oilco's...and some small normal company's may never recover...and they do not have the problems Bankers has. My optimism is shaken as I said, not gone....but I'm (we) reaching the end of my tether.

If you have followed my posts, Himmler, you would see that I am on the same page as you. I am also a bit perplexed by our managements actions,or lack there-of, so my faith is being eroded the longer this fiasco with those azz-jockeys goes on. Seriously, they really in the backwaters of political and economic development and are not into the same business era as the global community. I sort of ...more

There is one important dark cloud that needs addressing here.BNK didnt ask for a trading halt.So all speculating aside that is one issue that everyone overlooks.I have invested in one or two company's over the years that did ALSO have issues with authorities.ALL of them requested and were granted a trading halt. And these were company's that were not in the calibre of BNK. I dont agree with ...more

Spot on,as usual. Did anybody ask IR that. I have seen more halts than pickles on mickey-mouse stuff but NOT on the future of a company!!!!

I have to assume that there's no update otherwise they'd be compelled to say something. This has shaved off $300 million from market cap. Unbelievable!!
