My eternal optimism is ....
...somewhat shaken. Not only in the Albanian government but in Bankers as well.Although Bankers initially did what I thought was correct with its actions,I now wonder why they stated that they cannot pay the workers, yet initially stated that the bank account seized by the authorities held little cash....where is their money then? ..and use the money to continue operations?? They believe they are right so whats the problem?? Simplistic..yes..but?
Its a week now since the news and despite losing almost half the market cap in that time ,we get no real assurances from the company that things are progressing...at least not reassuring to us retail investors.7 .7million trades and dropping %15 suggests institutions bailing....enough garbage about 'weak hands'...This is almost capitulation in my books.
This is all my opinion, and you longs out there know I've been with this company for many years ...as you have....so although I am venting I take no solace in watching this company's value being destroyed, out of the blue, for no real apparent reason. This idiotic nationalisation garbage talk does provide me with some small chuckles ..but something sinister seems to be occuring here...and it is in my sincere belief that BNK had better get this mess explained in a clear and urgent manner. The market is fickle these days ..especially with oilco's...and some small normal company's may never recover...and they do not have the problems Bankers has. My optimism is shaken as I said, not gone....but I'm (we) reaching the end of my tether.

Spot on,as usual. Did anybody ask IR that. I have seen more halts than pickles on mickey-mouse stuff but NOT on the future of a company!!!!

I have to assume that there's no update otherwise they'd be compelled to say something. This has shaved off $300 million from market cap. Unbelievable!!
