all this debate about takeover price

Is just plain stupid!!! This deal packs in this stock goes back to $1.10 or worse. Not that the whole lot of us voting against would make the slightest bit of difference. This deal in the context of the current price of oil is fair. Price of oil heads lower and it gets worse and then it's dead money. All you cavalier bullsheit artists will again be crying the blues. Suck it up and take this as a blessing because there's plenty of names out there to pick from if you want to play oil. I'm fairly confident that BNK has already begun soliciting the larger known holders so all your bellyaching with you tiny positions won't make a difference.

Hey BC, which other stocks do you hold? I plan to look into some other energy companies with the proceeds from this takeover. I've been holding BNK for about a year now, so I come to this BullBoard and often read your comments. Although condescending at times, your comments are appreciated, as I can see that , in general, your posts are for good reasons.

There's so many. A good start is to look at those that recently done some equity raises. I'm not going to talk about any other names nor am I inclined to comment or post on them either. Like I said, once I'm out of this trade I'm done. I just get tired and P/O'd at all the dumb comments. I will stick this out for a short while longer after this it adios amigos

You really get too wrapped up in this bullboard...it's just that, a bull (perhaps aptly named) board...definitely should not dictate trading strategy, i.e. whether in/out or whatever...

It's easy to have two thirds then the business will be successfully completed.

Thanks! Would it be fair to say that the deal has 80% chance to go through in 3 months time? Congrats for all shareholders!

I'm voting Si Si

He is correct in his post, this is a done deal. Seen it with Rally Energy and others they have had, if management has agreed this is a fair buy out price and they want the deal- its done. They own 80% of it, no voting of your "200,000 shares" will make a difference. Im mixed on this, on one hand Braincloud is right- it is a blessing in a market like this but oil is really in recovery ...more

fyi management owns only 6% of the outstanding shares. Does anyone here know who are the major shareholders and what their thoughts on this deal is?
Comment by terryshan on Mar 22, 2016 12:31am
looked in bloomberg today and seems that the largest shareholder holds under 10%, through several funds. I don't believe there is any major holder for this stock.
