That's cute fuddy daddy...where were you in March 2020 when covid hit the markets hard. Was told not to load up on all the juicy blue chip stocks.....but I did.....ended up the year with over 35

If this is the bottom and you achieve 7%Divi and a year from now the world stabilizes....and we slowly go up to say 70 dollars a share....you would be sitting on a large capital appreciation...1000

Yup, WW 2 they cut the dividend. Today we have Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Hamas, with China just itching to take over Taiwan. Sounds like the making of WW 3, time for another divvy cut ?

It has been decades since one of the big 5 Canadian banks served up a dividend cut. National Bank cut in 1992. Laurentian Bank more recently. But the big 5 made it through the mess in the 1980s, the
