RE: ITrade Failure

RE: ITrade FailureAhhhhhh..........small print.................where would our banks be without it?

Ask yourself a couple of questions........do you think the melonheads manning the phones at BNS/ iTrade even care about your complaint?  Do you think the pinheads in management care one iota about your complaint?  (Not bloody likely as their too busy filling their pockets with bonus money to have a free hand to answer the phone).  I'd advise moving your account elsewhere if they don't offer you a whack of free trades.

FWIW I use RBC action direct. Their trading platform is a slooooooow as molasses but it is fairly reliable.  The other aspect I like is that, unlike TradeFreedom & others, RBC will only charge you one commission for your trade, rather than several commissions if you're trade is filled in bits and pieces.  I pay $6.95 per trade but you'll need to keep a fairly high minimum balance and keep active to qualify for commissions at that price.

All the best,

The Bluenote
