RE:RE:RE:RE:Can anyone say $50s soon?I have never seen one of the Big 6 banks cut their dividend -  doesn't mean it can't happen, but it would be a historiical moment that would need to clearly be backed by a very troubled balance sheet.

I don't see that balance sheet trouble here with BNS.

How many times in your lifetime will you be able to buy a blue chip stock such as this, one that has compounded it's value over decades, with a dividend return that is almost 7% annually? That's a div that's is almost 3X what standard inflation tarthets are set to.

To me, the dividend return is not a concern, it's a sign of what the underlying stock price 'should' be.
