RE:RE:All it takes is someone to bid 100 shares at the askYes, Brookfield is doing it the smarter way.   Many other companies are redeeming their prefers at par ($25), some even taking out loans to do it.

It may take Brookfield longer, but they are getting them at over 50% discount!  That's a smarter way.

I came to the conclusion that basically BPO=BPY=BN  ..... Even if you go to BPY's website and click "about us", "who we are" it takes you to BN's website.

I'm collecting crazy dividends.....I can wait for my ~100% share price gain.   I have my shares, who cares if others miss out..... so I took a break from posting.

Shorters will still do their thing..  This will allow Brookfield to continue to get them cheap most likely.

Almost 400,000 shorted on the T's now I think.   LOL

All just my opinion/view/thinking/guessing
