A Sound Investment?
It certainly seems to be. The following is a recent quote from a description of the stock:
BTB. UN has a dividend yield higher than 75% of all dividend-paying stocks, making it a leading dividend payer.
Also, the property sold for $5.9 million as per the most recent NR was purchased for $3.6 million in 2007. Presuming the rent covered both the mortgage and the profit used as part of the dividend it would not be surprising to learn that the mortgage has already been "burned" representing just one more example of the strength of the management team.
