I like the exposure to crypto currencies with this etf rather than buying a single type

You didn't actually say anything...?  Thanks for the link... yes there is risk!  not a pumper just happy to get some exposure to bitcoin.

If you hold bitcoin on your own wallet and try to buy/sell, you will pay for the blockchain transaction to move from the wallet to the exchange and then for the buy/sell spread with your trading platform. So for example, Shakepay would cost you about 2% from the market cost of bitcoin, AND the gains would be taxable (Public Service Announcement: you have to tell the taxman about your crypto ...more

Gmoney, BTCC is only invested in BitCoin, not any other cryptos...

I just jumped in without knowing anything... thanks to everyone pointing out my failure to do research on the etf before buying it. I am still happy to be going along for the ride.  I would buy an etf that had exposure to more crypto and blockchain if anyone has one to buy.

I have been invested in HIVE since inception and have done extremely well.It mines both Etherium and Bitcoin and the price of the stock grows with the number of coins mined...The price of HIVE is also relative to the price of both Coins...And no annual management fee...                                    Is ...more

No annual management fee but cost and infastructure to mine? For someone who wants both coin and manufacturing exposure, HIVE will work, but for someone who only wants coin, not so much. Think Barrick vs Gold. As for US or CAD, comes down to the direction you think both currencies will go in terms of one another.
