Do you have any idea from where we were and what we are now?

BTE is dead, no opec, no war, no disaster, no storm, no IEA news, nothing will make this dumb  as s move. Remember, half step forward and 10 steps backward from now on. This thing is long dead and burried, $2 coming soon.

I'm 60% down, got in the 7$, was so full of hope like you, IEA one day, Opec the other day, one spring gone two spring gone, this thing keep plunging like hell. Why do you think i'm burried deep down with BTE now, cause i was too emotional and I was hopeful. So run while you still can, i'm more than 50K down, so I have no choice, i'll wait and see my money vanish or may be in 10 yrs IF a big IF things go well get out even.

On the bright side, i even don't care, cause i've made more than 400% in my weed stocks, so ya I don't give a s hit with BTE now. May it rest in peace, Amen!!!

I first purchased OSB at $100 (equivalent) in 1995.  Around 2008 2009 at the latest and perhaps years sooner someone like you would have been saying things like your rant above.  I accumulated massively in the slow years under $12.  Somewhere in 2012 I broke even around $20 and today it paid a $4.50/share dividend and the SP sits at $45.  Today's dividend exceeds my annual salary for each and every year up until about age 30.

BBD.B, TECK.B, ECA, MX were all multi year shiit shows that in the end collectively made me 7 figures.

How is it that with my first purchase of BTE at over $15, my ACB is under yours of $7?  How is my loss currently only 27% when yours is 60%?  How is it that even if I sold all my BTE today and booked the $100K loss, I am still up on energy since before the crash of late 2014?

You may be right and BTE will come to nil, but I think the odds are in my favour.  Do you see what the above list of stocks have in common?  They all deal in "long term useful things".  Companies like such will sometimes shoot themselves in the foot and stink to high heaven for years at a time.  But they usually rise from the ashes because in the end the world needs their products.  There is always utility in long term useful things, and what is more useful than oil?  Surely oil is the base of the triangle of world prosperity.

Congratulations on your 400% in WEED.  Hopefully you can eventually see that that play was a piece of foolishness that happened to pay out, and BTE is an actual investment that has not yet ripened.  If you have any sense at all you would take your 400% in WEED and buy more BTE or some other oil play.  You can thank me in 5 days to 5 years, whenever the truth happens to emerge.

Anyhow, this will fall on deaf ears for you are certain in your views.  It is really written for third parties, maybe a 20 something, just starting in investing and not yet entrenched in false thinking.
