What is the book valueof BTE? I have no idea. I don't particularly care. Knowing the BV to 3 significant figures does not add anything to my practice of successfully investing, so I don't spend any time considering it. I could expand upon this further, but you consider me an idiot so it would go nowhere.

LOL.  Does not know, Does not care!!   LOL     I know the market runs on emotions, but everyone knows that fundamentals has some say into what the share price is.    If you were smart enough, you would know that knowing this would help you become more successfull in investing.

Why do I need to become more successful? I am already a 10%er and do next to nothing. I have it figured out. The metric I optimize is the results:effort ratio. You are or aspire to be higher than a 10%er, have at it. My biggest money worry is determining what charities to leave it all to, and whether to dole it out over time, or die in 30 years with a ~$10-50M estate. Though I must say I sure did enjoy standing with 5 young women the other day, the recipients of this year's allotment of my and my wife's recent donation, so am leaning towards dole it out. The only true wealth is our youth and I am unfortunately very impoverished in this department. They all likely thought I was giving them a gift, but who is to say gets the better deal in the arrangement: the old hippopotamus or the beautiful young birds.
