RE:Glad for everyone that held onto BTE!!

RE:Glad for everyone that held onto BTE!!Thanks for the update man.  At least you got out even.  Those were ugly days in March-April, 2022.  Good for you for having the courage to buy then.  The debt was huge, but nothing due until 2024, so they did have a runway to recovery if oil could bounce sometime in those 4 years.  And bounce it has!

I got turned onto Baytex back in 2017-18. Was buying in the 3-4$ range. Then continued to average down in the sub $2 range. And finally buying all the way down to .33c

I had a good chunk of my rrsp in it, and what kills me to this day is I told myself 2021 was the year of oil coming back. And I let external forces (brother in-law) get to me and finally sold when I was almost even and moved it into other stocks which haven't done anything lol.

I know why I sold, having held so long. My baytex holdings were down 85+% at the bottom. But i paper handed. If you can't handle the negative oil prices, you don't deserve the $100 oil barrels either. I sold when I saw the first bit of resistance on 70$ oil and it pulled back.

I'm just glad people on here that held on was truely some gains. I remember one guy max??? That bought a million shares at the low.

what a ride.
