Thx CobaltYup it makes sense to me. Demonize a commodity we need and then complain when the commodity gets more expensive. The only caveat I would add here is that "oil" is not the only thing that keeps the US economy humming BUT IN CANADA it actually is our biggest export and if you remove the oil proceeds from our government's coffer, Canada would be hard pressed to pay the bills. So we get hypocrisy and incompetence from our government in Ottawa.
