Tks to red2000 for this RBC info: so they just have to drill the hole and the oil flows??? No casing, no explosive charges, no frac fluid??

It is not a tight shale formation so no you would not be using frac fluid or explosives.  If the formation depths are the same as the fields in wabisca then kick off will be around 700m for the laterals to begin.   Casing is always needed bud not matter what or that hole will colapse.   Not sure how they are pumping it out as that stuff is heavy like tar but not like the ...more
