IF anybody is wondering where our Gov.'t sees oil in 30 years:

Guilbeault said projections show that by 2050, the world's demand for oil will be less than one-third of what it is today, and all of it will have to come from sources that don't add emissions through production.

"Will there be a place for one of the highest emitting forms of oil if they don't make those investments in decarbonization? I don't think so."

According to that statement, he is saying that we will be at a daily consumption of 30 million barrels per day in 20nyears.  sure...
