Has any Fed leader failed as much as he has?   Too late to start raising rates to slow down Biden's inflation, too much and too fast of an overreaction once he began and zero recognition of the damage to the entire financial system that he has caused.   Then today his irresponsible commentary intentionally drives down the market.  The guy wants people to lose jobs and lose in the market.   He's a dck.

I'd put Volcker in the same category as someone who crushed inflation at the expense of the worker (with an accompanying lack of empathy) and went far too extreme with interest rates.   But Powell also compares to Burns as somebody asleep at the wheel while inflation was growing and then did little to combat it.  In both cases the pendulum swung too far.   The uniqueness of
