Shale plays
Cpg and wcp ..have no shale oil wells in Canada ...not sure if cpg still has the bakken shale play .....conventional wells have a decline rate of around 7% .....shale wells have an initial decline rate of 60%. First year and 80 % in the second year of production ....by that you can figure out the cap ex needed to keep production flat .....even the u s sweet spot the Permian goes down by 60% first year ..lleaglford is a shale play that's all I am indicating .....I have bte shares and hope the production can remain flat or grow a bit but if it declines so will the div and buybacks and the share price ...lwating close here ...glta ...
