Insider buying

Some strong insider buying today. Greager and colleagues putting their money where their mouth is. Opportunity knocks as retail sells off on an excellent earnings report that beat on production and capex. You can't make this stuff up.

BTE execs are doing everything they said they were going to do and more. Yet the retailers panic over the journaling of a simple accounting procedure to SAVE the company tax expenses in the near future.

Notice how not a single analyst has referenced the write down as a negative part of the earnings report?

I can understand why the insiders are all over this share price along with institutiona; buyers. Knowledge is king and those who know reap the rewards. The naive get robbed again.

It was ever thus.

They have been buying since the Ranger Oil acquisition and it is not doing anything to the SP, in contrast the more they buy the more SP goes down, example is today, we don't need insider buying, we need good performance of the management such as reducing costs, increasing production at the right time, reducing debt as fast as possible.

Serious problem here, whatever the magagement did= NOTHING except  down the share price ex: the buyback, the dividend, the earnings, reducing the debt ect= NOTHING. The FCF is too low, the market does not want to wait  5, 7, or 10 years again before to get some return because  the risk in the future is uncertain. Mostly the BTE news are not good or positive, always something wrong.

the only way to expect to fix this quick is selling some assets when wti is high , not during a fire sale , better sell when oil high , not sure what can make sens , but like cpg sold North Dakota 23500 b/d that was generate 375 millions a year at 75 wti , people didn't like it but by 2027 these assets would give 18000b/d , they got 675 millions for the sale , I think this was a good move .... ...more
